About the Role

Are you a Central Valley area (Stockton, Tracy, and Modesto) local with a strong commitment to advancing the well-being of Black women?

Black Girls Sister Society is currently seeking a dedicated individual to serve as a Coordinator in the Central Valley area (Stockton, Tracy, and Modesto)

As a Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:

Collaborating closely with the Chapter President and other leaders to plan and execute various chapter activities, programs, and events.
Facilitating communication and coordination among team members and external partners.
Assisting in the implementation of strategies to support the chapter's mission and objectives.
Providing support and stepping in to fill roles as needed within the chapter structure.
Desirable qualifications for this role include:

Residency in the Central Valley area (Stockton, Tracy, and Modesto).
Proficiency in utilizing social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, etc., for coordination and promotion purposes.
While previous coordination or leadership experience is beneficial, it's not mandatory.
A deep-seated dedication to our mission of empowering Black women.
